My genealogy studies include . . .
I'm searching for information on the following family surnames: Smithson, Cheatham, Hatcher, Rucker, Secrest, Chiles, Lackey, Jackson, Woolsey, Howell, Jenkins. Most of these families migrated from Virginia into Tennessee, Texas, Georgia and Alabama. Some of them arrived from England in the mid 1600's.
